Terms and Conditions

Confirming your booking
We will confirm your booking via email once we receive your completed booking form and waiver and a 20% deposit for your course or charter to our nominated bank account.
We will invoice you for the remaining 80% balance of your booking. This invoice is payable 30 days prior to your course or charter starting.
Bookings made within 30 days of the start of your course or charter require payment in full.

Deposit and cancellations
All deposits are non refundable, however we are happy to count this as the deposit toward another course or charter.
If you cancel within 30 days of your course or charter starting, the remaining 80% of your booking is only refundable if we find another student or charter customer to take your place. It may not be used as a credit toward an alternative time (as we have already lost the opportunity to sell this space to someone else).

Liability and insurance
Fastack South instructors are RYA certified and the yachts provided by Fastack South conform to the Department of Transport’s Code of Practice for Small Commercial Vessels. The yachts are fully insured against accident, third party liability and personal injury arising from negligence by Fastack South. However, students are advised to take out the appropriate holiday insurance to cover any potential losses or damage to personal property and cancellation charges.

Your comfort and that of others
We like everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed while sailing with us. For that reason we ask you to only drink in moderation once we have docked for the evening and to ensure that you only smoke once you are off the vessel. No one who is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs (including medication that makes you drowsy) will be permitted to take part in courses.
Also, sailing can be physically demanding. For that reason we ask that you ensure (to the best of your ability) that you are fit to take part in all aspects of the course.
