Compete in the Round the Island Race 2018

The annual J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race organised by the Island Sailing Club, is a one-day yacht race around the Isle of Wight, an island situated off the south coast of England.The race regularly attracts over 1,700 boats and around 16,000 sailors, making it one of the largest yacht races in the world. Competitors come from all over the UK, other parts of Europe and as far away as the USA to follow the 50 nautical mile course round the Isle of Wight.
You and your friends or colleagues can be part of the action with your own yacht, and an experienced professional skipper to help you practice the day before and then guide you through every step of the race.

The yacht: You’ll be racing on the capable Beneteau 41S5 ‘Amelie’, part of one of the most successful racing yacht stables in the world.

Price:  Individuals £549pp or complete Yacht booking £3000 includes yacht and professional skipper for a training day on Friday 30th June and then Race Day and Night on Saturday 1 July, returning to Gosport on the morning of Sunday 2 July. Our Yacht can carry 11 crew plus Skipper. Beds available onboard for 7 crew plus Skipper. Additional accommodation to be arranged at own cost in Cowes.

The Rolex Fastnet Race 2017 is one of the worlds most thrilling but challenging Yacht Races in the world. Join Fastack South and compete in over 1000 miles of offshore yacht racing including the prestigious Rolex Fastnet Race 2017.
With Fastack South we plan to get you competatively placed with our experienced racing team in our 2017 Rolex Fastnet campaign.
Places are open to all abilities although beginers would benifit from completing one of our Competent Crew courses prior to signing up for the race package. As a sailing school entry we will train you to become an active member of our race team.

Fastnet Race

The biennial Rolex Fastnet Race is considered one of the worlds classic ocean races, the 608 mile course is a test for both Skipper and crew with its tricky tidal currents and chanegable weather patterns. The race, organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club will start at 10am Sunday 6th August 2017 off Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
